OUR BORING PAST

The Toughtec story

Initial Exposure to Milling Industry

Post Indo - Pak partition, in 1947 our forefathers settled in Haryana, India (India’s only Basmati Rice Producing Region) working in paddy fields and small rice mills. In 1965, when Indian government declared modernization of agriculture in India and green revolution happened, our father was offered a supervisory charge in agricultural finance in a bank, to help modernize the agriculture & grain milling sector in India. Working at this position, he realized the potential in agriculture industry and gained the insight in the functioning of various milling processes.

The First Step to manufacturing of Grain Handling Machines

During 40 years of his tenure with Punjab National Bank, he financed and commissioned various rice mills in India. He also gained thorough knowledge of machinery involved in grain milling and its functioning. Post retirement in 2000, he used his industry contacts and joined one of his colleagues to set up a small factory in Delhi, India. The first Bucket Elevator was manufactured in 2001 in the name of R K Machinery. It was a short success as our father expired in 2006. But at the time of his demise, RKM was manufacturing many other grain handling machines like grain cleaners, hydraulic goods lifts, trolleys, de stoners and old fashioned vibro separators.

8 years pause

There was about 8 years pause post his demise. In 2014, our family decided once again to re-enter the machinery business which our family started years ago. Since I was out of the industry for almost a decade, I joined India's leading Grain handling equipment manufacturer & India's largest Rice Rubber Roll Manufacturer as independent machinery sales consultant where I got to know the latest machines and technology prevailing at the time. In 2016, I decided to put together an independent team and utilize our forefather’s insight & experience with the latest technological trends and re started the manufacturing business.

Restart of Operations

In 2016, we re-started our operation under the brand name “Wolf Automation” to focus on Material Handling Equipment like Conveyor systems, Goods lifts and grain handling machines, but recently, we changed our name to “toughtec” which we feel goes well with our image and company's motive. We directly and indirectly export products in our portfolio and are now looking for your support to provide you with some of the toughest and finest machines to India and the World.

Toughtec plays a very small role in contributing to industry figures and we continuously strive to add to those figures each year by providing best quality machinery at reasonable pricing to the world.
