Toughtec series TT LG 90 Rice Grader has an indented cylinder which efficiently separates broken rice from the Head rice.

The process of separation of the product by length is done thoroughly and efficiently. The indent cylinder as it rotates, holds the broken rice into the teardrop holes in the mesh, in which the broken rice gets deposited in the indent and when the cylinder reaches the top, it discharges it into a specially designed trough from where a screw conveyor takes the broken rice out in a discharge outlet. The head rice moves out of the machine through another discharge outlet.

Length graders are an essential part of every rice milling unit and since the broken or shorter grains of rice that are more than half the length of whole grain are difficult to separate through sieving, graders do that job in a jiffy.

At toughtec, we use indented cylinder to separate one or two kinds of broken or shorter grains from whole grain by length. The grains which are shorter in length or are broken, get caught in the rotating drum while the longer in length rice drop out of the indents before they reach the catch trough. The grains which remain in the indents are thrown into the catch trough to be collected from the broken discharge outlet.
